Hey readers, Welcome to the continuation of our Tuesday's Takeaways segment! As we head back to school for Fall semester, our Top Quotes about new beginnings remind us how we have the opportunity for change at any point in our lives.
We are sure you have had doubts about how the upcoming semester will play out...but it's important to keep in mind positive thoughts such as: "It might [be] the beginning of a new story" -David Mitchell, AGE OF THE EPOCHIANS So we are here to tell you: "Close your eyes, it’ll be alright Awaken to the dawn of a new day" -Mariam Esa, The Endless Night "You are going to be given many new opportunities and challenges in the future. You can’t be afraid anymore." -Ahnaf Zitou, A BRIEF INQUIRY INTO THE TIME YOU BROKE YOUR OWN HEART "...start to climb out. Fear. Excitement. What’s out there?" -Stephanie Calderon Vasquez, Is It Okay? Find what's out there and start, "commemorating new beginnings Building new bridges through unity, forming branches of one tree, our collegiate community." -Rachel Augustin, Behind the Silent Walls And now...
The notion that it only takes 21 days to form a habit is a myth. Sometimes it can feel impossible to form a new habit, but according to psychology the best way to do so is through repetition. Try setting aside time every day for your new, positive habit and you never know what can happen! Next week's theme is going to be about weather. Make sure to stay tuned! <3 -Mic and Gina
