Hey readers,
Welcome back to Tuesday's Takeaways!
This week our Top Quotes are about sunshine and summer since it seems like the sun is starting to set on summer.
  • Takeaway trivia of the week: Does sunshine actually make people happier or do people just really love summer?
Meanwhile...
There's somethin' about the sunshine...

"When I tasted hope for the first time it came in the form of sunshine"
-Jada Gordon, All I Know Has Been Rewritten

"You stumble and roam like a ghost throughout the night
Thinking you’ll be lost for eternity.
But then the night sky pulls up the sun with all its might
And there it is: serenity"

-Ching Wah Wong,  Wander, Search, Find

"As I stare into the sun, my mind melts.
Now I’m on the floor as a puddle,
floating in my feelings and surviving across their waves.
It is so placid...so calming."

-Ilana Iskhakova, Under

And now it's time for us to be...

"Soaking up the last kisses of summer"
-Mic Braun, Seasonal Kisses

because soon we will be saying...

"After one last hug goodbye, Summer has finally made her exit. "
-Jessica Drigun-Lara, Summer's Interlude

And now...
Yes, it's true: sunshine makes people happier! A boost in vitamin D leads to a boost in serotonin, so make sure to soak up these last few weeks of summer sun!

Next week's theme will be about prayers and remembrance.
Make sure to stay tuned! <3
