We’re like a brown paper bag
Reduced, reused, recycled
Becoming extinct
Rolled up in lies
Cheated on with plastic bags
Folded like a fable
With a treacherous ending
There’s a hole on my side, and it’s beginning to feel ponderous
Picture
I’m like a brown paper bag
Normal on the outside
Suffocating on the inside
Struggling to balance within
I want to see who truly lies behind this paper bag I’m imperfect, all crumpled up

“Reduced, Reused, Recycled”
You’re like a brown paper bag
Stern on the outside
Helpless on the inside
Struggling to fit in

You couldn’t punch your way out of a wet paper bag
You’re imperfect, with crinkles on top
You’d let everyone in, excluding the leftover (me)
Letting you out of the bag is harder than putting you back in
